You ask what is the best advice given to me?
I do have some of these words of wisdom on my page if you have time to read. The biggest of all though was said by my father many many many times......especially when we (siblings) we arguing or whatever came up. You know the classic phrase, but I didn't...., but she......but he.......you know how that goes as a kid. So, if you had any comments and you were not even part of the argument it was ALWAYS, "hey, you take care of yourself"! There were other things said too, but the bottom line was "TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF". Some from that, I try to remember you can't rely on something else or someone else to make you happy. You are what you think you are. You're happy if you make yourself happy. You are the only person who can make "you" feel, do etc Don't rely on anybody else! In my mind, this also leads to not be disappointed all the time too! There is more, but then I'd have to write a book!! Thanks for posting this, it keeps me in line with what I am heading into right now in my life.
