Seeds,
I remember doing that once on the phone when I was like, well, in the Girl Scouts...to my scout leader. I'll never forget it. What a total shrinkin' moment right there!!

When you are chock full of love like the person you are, you just have to give it away so you get more back. Keep on givin' it away and just keep yourslef filled up. Love ya

That is how my husband found out...
that I loved him. We had been dating "just friends" after my late husband's death and it just slipped out one night as he kissed me good bye. We have been friends for nearly 15 years and I had never said it to him. Two months later he asked me to marry him. Did you get a proposal from the city official?

Yes I have
I was embarrassed until -- a few days later when I got an email - saying thanks that he needed to hear that someone loved him - that he was so fustrated in his life that day that he was thinking about suicide. So dont be embarrassed to say Love ya-- it just might make some one feel special -- it did in my case

Oh yes, I have slipped up like that before
But not on the phone. Probably more to my embarrassment, to people I work with! But I've got to say, I don't think it's ever brought me anything negative. It's just too easy to say, "love you honey.... bye!"
And that has to be better than slipping up and saying, "Oh, I freaking hate you. Bye."

Bryan Regan the comedian, has that skit about saying goodbye and saying take care and good luck at once so you end up shouting 'Take Luck!!' Yours wins.

Thanks. Just one of those things that happen when your mind is on ten or more things at once. I thinks it's called 'Multi-tasking' but really it's just a mess inside my brain.
Great having you stop by again today

Aww! And I was feeling special!
In any case, I bet the city official was OK with it. Probably brightened his day.
