I'm glad you took the job! Someone needs to. I would probably dread being responsible for people's kids, even to the point of not volunteering at all.

Take some pencils and paper

Take some pencils and paper with you and get them all started as writers talking and writing about what they did last year on the same event.  Just a thought!

I was never in girl scouts growing up, but my daughter has been in since Kindergarten. I figured it was my turn to take a few turns as leader. I just finished organiizing everything I need to bring, so am feeling a little better about all this!
