That's what's wrong...
...with our medical system now. Doctors pushing pills for their little kickbacks. They give you a pill to cure you and then another pill to cure the side effects of the original pill.

it's a tough one, when to take drugs and when not. Sometimes I go to
two dr's and if they both prescribe a drug I'll then take it. But it gets expensive running from one physician to another.

Hi lustorlove. Addictions are so strong and it is so much better to never become addicted to anything. We can't be too careful. I recently overcame cigarette addiction and it was a difficult path to tread, but I made it!
I feel so much compassion for anyone struggling to overcome any form addiction.

---we must respect medicine but only as medicine; we use one t-shirt on a summer day, not two and three. So why overdose on other things we consider necessities like foodm drugs, even coffee and wine? Thanks for visiting my post. Best wishes Dear One

i dont know
but i am definitely against 99% of prescribed drugs because afterall theres always a natural alternative and quite frankly i dont want to risk addiction or create more problems in my body by taking these "so-called" effective drugs which are relentlessly pushed by these mammoth companies who only care about getting the $

I think any diagnosis of depression (and any resulting prescribed drugs) should come from a psychiatrist - not our family Dr.

The same, happens everywhere. You get antibiotic prescribed to cure something you have. And together goes medication which cures your stomach from antibiotic. Good for pharmaceutic industry

Lust
I've been on anti depressants for over 20 years. I thought I should kick the 'habit' recently, told my doc and he said, 'no, you don't need to get off the drugs.' I found myself two therapists and I am seeing both right now, slowly weaning myself off the drugs.
ALL drugs are legal including alcohol which kill more people each year then street drugs. It's the ones the government don't have a cut in that are illegal. 'When did passing out drugs become okay?' When Booze was legalized. And now generations have grown up with fixing everything from sore toe to multiple personalities with drugs. It's the norm...but we know better, we've just forgotten to think for ourselves and we trust someone else with our bodies and minds. As you can see this is a hot topic with me.
