I especially like this verse : Fire
opposites attract twins oppose
Mysteries of life decompose
Water is my calming companion
My secret soulmate
Waiting to ravish me with
Fire
It calls a whole lot of images to my mind. To me it says all complications dissolve as fire and water mesh, cancelling out. it's like the fire submits to the water even as it is destroyed...heehee, erm, I like to analyse things and I'm a bit of a literary critic. I'd love to know what you meant by that verse though.

I like this poem. it's raw and unrefined, but quite beautiful. It has some interesting images, like the 'decomposing'. The pictures make me think long after I've finished reading, and I read it three times in succession trying to wrap my mind around it, looking for hidden meaning.
For me, the mark of any good writing is stuff that makes me think about it long after I'm done reading it, and this poem does. Very Nice!
Ps : yeah, I've been writing since I was twelve. My poetry comes in spells though, I write when I'm in the right mood. Welcome to Blogit !
