I had them when I was a young boy too and hated them just like you did. The only people that think they are cute are the ones that don't have them. They simply disappeared over time. I don't know why or how maybe it is just that grown-ups don't have as many of them. I only know that I didn't do anything to make them go away, but I sure am glad they did.

I'm one of those who says that having freckles is cute. But then, you don't have them anymore, right? So, it will be okay to say this, and still be your friend.

I had my own thoughts and saw Taps comment and wondered if my age spots could benefit more from living on an island or rather I just say I am happy for you since they appear to be quite the bane for you. sam

I always heard that lemon juice would fade out freckles. But, since I didn't have freckles, I didn't try it. Hmmmm, I should try the lemon juice on my age spots, they are freckles of a sort.
