How about it just didn't happen? It's always convenient to blame a devil
or attribute to a god things that just happen.  Somewhere else, someone lost a hand.  Karmic wheel, universal balance, devil's play?  Who knows?  But if it makes you feel better, divine intervention is the easiest way to go...

You may be right. The little things that happen always seem to be big avenues of understanding and conviction by the beholder.  sam
