Does God really exist.
God has prepared a way for you to find the wisdom you seek.  Jesus Christ said that "no man comes to the father, but by me."  You can talk to God and ask him to reveal himself to you in the name of Jesus.  The bible also says that "whosoever will...let him come."  and also to "knock and the door shall be opened."  God loves his creation so much that he will not settle for less than willing love from us.  Satan wants us to operate in fear, but God wants us to live by faith.  Put your faith in God and you will see how real he is.

That's a very good question you posed to me darling. How do we know?
It just seems that if I don't follow the inner voice I'll take a wrong turn. Something that I've been an expert at most of the time. I don't know love. Faith is just there and it brings me a kind of peace and has kept me going through some rough times.

My proof
I posted a story where something shoved my left arm going down the road, and caused me to avoid an accident that would have been real bad, as I was driving a semi truck.  I felt that, as plain as day, and there was no one there.  For me, that was proof enough that something exists out there and I physically felt it.  Why I was spared and given this proof, I will never know, but feel compelled to share it.  Keep the questions coming, and good luck.

you can't put your finger on

a definite way to demonstrate the existence of god.

if by god, you mean, the classic god that Jews, Christians and Moslems portray, there are people to whom this is a personal entity which they can "feel".  This is a construct, however, that others have difficulty recognizing as a real entity, mainly due to many events that seem to contradict the image that is portrayed.

What anyone has to do is investigate.  There is no litmus test for god's existence.

As I have said in my blog, GOD AS THE UNIVERSE AS AN ORGANISM, there seems to be a progression in the Universe, almost through intent.  Stars formed, supernovaed, denser stars like our sun formed, and planets around them.  This begins the cycle of life coming from death, a theme persistent throughout the Universe, and particularly on the observable Earth.  This seeming intent, progression, causes me to perceive of this "Universe God".  Life arises and develops until Homo Sapiens Sapiens appears and perceives.

Societies progress from archaic, beastly, to more or less (sometimes it seems less) enlightened that understands human rights and freedoms.  Old barbaric ways are thrown out (although too much still remains).  Humans as a whole seem to be progressing toward a "light" of some sort (although our present government belies that perception).

To attempt to put one's finger on God is futile.  One does in fact need to virtually "feel" God -- the Universe and its progression as I have described.

But each individual has to perceive his/her own version of god.  That is probably what is right for you -- discover your own version of god.

Darling I just feel a presemce looking after me always. I guess that's
where my courage comes from. I don't attend church regularly, or even occassionally, I sort of have my own way of communing with God each day.

Spirituality is a personal journey. Knowing God exits results in the effort put into the journey. I believe because Jesus said, "Only believe." When the Lord is present in my life there is hope when I rely on myself I am confronted with despair. I have prayed and had prayers answered that were immeasurable and most importantly not linked to materialism. I am referring to real riches. I had to track my patterns to learn the ways in which the Lord spoke to me. I am so close to Him now it is no different than writing this communication on faith because I only am aware you exist as each entry appears. And by the way I adore them because you write so well and so convincingly I am spurred to instant deep thought and for that I thank you very much. You are a gem, my friend!   sam
