Maj - we all get to choose what we do in life, who will or won't work for. Those who decide they will work under such an administration as this deserve to go down with the ship.
One time in my life, I decided to "follow the money" instead of my heart and head. I was miserable and left that situation in less than a year and never regretted it.

When the environment is "top->down" and the top has a stake in the politics of everything you do and everything you say, one must balance survival with principles. Theoretically we should withold our support for such lying despots petty and large, but the goodies they promise are large and someone has to do it, will do it...
How many talented scientists, administrators, etc, have been plowed under or into submission?
