sam444: Nothing happened because no one in the Clinton Administration answered the simple question: How much would a typical premium cost?  If everyone and everything is covered by universal health care, how much is it going to cost the average ratepayer or any ratepayer?  Until that question is honestly and completely answered by the proponents of universal health care, it will never pass in the Congress or be supported by a majority of the American people.

I have a difficult time with H. Clinton because in 1992, she headed a committee to reform health care and the then president said she coud get it done. Nothing happened!  sam

Absolutely...
...because a lot of people were complaining that they had not had a choice to speak so this result balances out the process to give everyone a chance to say which they prefer. That's what I love about Democracy. It seems to always win in the end.
