No Carl, your voice is not being ignored..in fact, I'd submit that the more like us voice their opinions & feelings about this important American / humane issue throughout our communities, the more we can raise the awareness of voters & politicians..I actually think you & others are making a good start..just need to keep widening our horizons of influence..keep up the good work & best wishes, Ash Pradhan

Unfortunately, my opinion is being ignored and I am very disaffected with our political process. It resembles one of those automated calls I get sometimes. A recorded voice jabbers on, but there is no one there to listen to me.

And they wonder why voter turnout is low.

I agree. This country was built by immigrants. I think we sould let more in, not less. Anyone with the courage to move away from their homeland has the determination to make a good life here. Screen them but let 'em in.
