Thats what it is but for They call it the Belle Dance this year - I guess it is more politically correct who knows? Plus after all this is the south.

I hope things work out the way Diva wants them to. Things are
so dramatic when you're sixteen, every little disappointment seems like the end of the world, and every little flirtation is Cinderella and the prince. We used to call the event where girls asked boys the Sadie Hawkins dance -- I guess this came from the Li'l Abner comic strip which was very popular at the time. :)
