Corbin...sometimes we must look...
...behind the issues and look at the person. Look and listen to see if what comes out of the person's mouth corresponds to their aura. Look beyond what your eyes can see.

Redstatesman, I cannot believe you said that...

...if you listen to any of the political figures running now, you would be swallowing more crap than the sewage can contain. Listen to how many times each one of the candidates have changed their positions since this thing started. The only ones who have the same position still are the Republican winner last night and the Democratic loser last night. They are the only two who have been consistent. Everyone else has made it a rat race of who's flim flamming the most. And Hillary has taken everybody's best points and made it her campaign. She's the top flim flammer. She changes like the weather.

Sometimes there come a time when one person stands out from the crowd. When one person has a clear vision that includes everyone. When one person sees the problems of this country and wishes to make it right. One person who wishes to work with everyone, including his opponents, to figure out what is best for the people of this country. That one person is Obama. Don't lose sight of what is good.

My Message!
My message can be exactly what you want to hear. I can stand up here and feed you what you want to hear all day. Then, once elected, I can do whatever I want. Change is not and rarely good. Let's see, we are winning the war but let's change it, let's have the fighting over here in our own streets for a change. Get the picture? Don't swallow the crap feed to you. You are too intelligent for that.

I like Obama. He doesn't seem to do things to get recognized but rather because it is the right thing to do.  sam

Hmmmm?
Are we electing the message....or the messenger?   Do you know anything about his positions, bills he has sponsored. voted on, or in dozens of cases voted "present" on......

What's the specific plans or suggested solutions he proposes?   Remember the story of the Pied Piper of Hamlin???

I'm not saying he's lying, or misleading.....but what do we know about this man?

Think back to how our nation was really impressed that Jimmy Carter carried his own suitcase and answered his own phone.  Well, we didn't stay impressed very long.  Carter didn't get a 2nd term as U.S. President.

I just need to see or hear something more than a speech taken from his book.......and frankly America's future deserves more than than, too......

He has also been in touch with the opposition leader in Kenya, b2008,
attempting to help quell the violence in that country after their elections.  I think he's a good man.  He may be what this country needs, not just as a president, but as a symbol to the world that we're past that asinine cowboy phase...
