Lustorlove, now it's countrywide...
...who is being checked by the government and I wonder how that feels to have the shoe on their feet for a change!

Food4thought, that's exactly...
...what they would have done. You hit that nail my friend!

Pat B, I thoroughly agree...
...and as long as Americans can see the blatant money mongers, we should want a change. Thank you, hon.

Glennb, because they...
...are too consumed with this election and have put everything else on the back burner. They follow the money, sorry to say!

The rich win.
As I see it, the crooks with money who cheated working folks out of their hard-earned equity will not do a day in jail or pay a dime in fines.  I also believe the folks who own the banks own the news outlets, and they're not about to blow the whistle on their own scams. And they'd pay a million to lawyers rather than make a slightly lesser profit that would let buyers afford their mortgages.

B2008,
Why is the Corporate media silent on this? Home ownership was the engine of the Bush economic policy?

Of course...
They probably figured they would get the houses back and sell them again for even more profit.  While our house is paid for, my kids are just starting out and it is a jungle out there.

the city I live in has the most foreclosed houses in our county but its County Wide now that are really checking the credit on people.  People would buy the house and move in families and if they got pissed off they would stop paying the mortgage
