Re: Like Ciel, I enjoy BBC - it provides a broader perspective.
Troosh, I don't watch them all that much, but it has always been my impression that in their political reporting Fox strives for balance...

Re: Truly amazing. The most biased news organization being the least biased
Saul, I think the problem is that we are so accustomed to the endemic bias of the other outfits, that we often don't even notice it any longer...

Like Ciel, I enjoy BBC - it provides a broader perspective.
I think any of the American news stations deliver a narrow view but I had heard this about FOX.

Truly amazing. The most biased news organization being the least biased
with primary coverage... Boggles the mind.  Wait until after the nomination and see how balanced and fair they are... Murdoch and company simply don't have a dog in this fight... yet...

Re: It's hardly the best of a bad bunch. They seem moralistic and officious
Pat, preaching tends to have the same effect on me, hence I don't expose myself to that. Here we're dealing only with one aspect - their coverage of the presidential primaries! And it's evidently much more balanced than that of the other networks...

Re: hmnnnn sounds familiar to Australia I'm afraid.
Kabu, I would have thought you Aussies, being a sporting nation, would be more inclined to be fair and balanced in your media...

Re: no one station is completely fair... no matter what
riri, it seems that at least Fox is making an attempt, and being fairly good at it...

It's hardly the best of a bad bunch. They seem moralistic and officious
branches of the 700 club, especially on Fox, there's a whole lot of finger-pointing and preaching going on. I'm almost tempted to go out and sin just to spite the holier-than-thou pontificates.

I watch BBC sometimes, just to get another view.
Also to get a view of the rest of the world that is not filtered through American perceptions.
