Re: The concept of Toastmasters (TM) is useful & brings great friendships. Did

This is the 2nd time I get to be club president; I took over one of my "dying" clubs mid last year after my term as Division Governor.  I was disappointed over the first club which I led from a small membership towards a Presidents Distinguished Club of over 20 during my first presidency.  However, the president who succeeded me was a great disappointment because she acted as if she owned the club year-after-year so I left and took over another club.

This time, I am not going for the quantity and as I may have implied in my blog, I scrutinize guests before they become members. So our average meeting usually is around 10-12 attendees only.

I do not know Jim because we are here across the globe in the Philippines.  However, if I get elected to be the District Lt. Governor for Marketing this May, then I will attend the International Convention at Canada and meet everybody else

You seem to be doing a great job as President of your club. How many paying members do you have, and how often do you make a quorum of at least 12? SHALOM
