Re: Hmm...this might be an odd comment
Hi Jo--I understand what you're saying-however-it is similar to my coomet to Lilane! We really should take a look back and 'take the sting out of the bad'-meaning of course-to 'work with the bad'-check it all out-and each time we do that-next time it will be easier! I have been doing just that-with my own past-for around 8 and a half years--I personally think-it has done WONDERS for me! I have also 'been there'-with women in prisons-(in my professional capacity)-so I do know where your coming from! God bless-Chris.

Hmm...this might be an odd comment

but after sitting with prisoners for five days.

I wonder whether we should go back and look at what we remember and ask

"Is that really what happened?"

Great Haiku

Thanks Jo

Re: scramble
Hi Lilane--you too are right-but the reason the good ones 'take their time'-is because of the bad ones being in the forefront! I feel that-if we deal with the bad ones-(not just stash them away in a little box-never to be looked at')-but occasionally bring them out and 'take the sting out of them'-then the good ones will surface more frequently!? Thanks-Chris.

Re: Scramble
Hello Troosha-you are so right! However-those that we do 'file away' would be better 'dealt with' and made lighter and the good memories-yes-celebrate them as often as possible!Thanks-Chris.

yes that is why all the bad memories never surface, but the good  ones take their time sometimes

Some memories we simply have to "file away" in a safe place because they are not worth revisiting.  But the good ones - they should be brought out every day and celebrated.  Loved the poem!
