Not to oversimplify your question, but just leave a tape recorder or radio transmitter near that tree and find out!
Are "x-rays" still there, even tho we, naturally, are unable to see or hear them?
An even broader question: are other things which we, (perhaps only some of us) can not detect with our five senses, nevertheless, still present?
