Don't worry. My mom was 37 and I'm fine. I think.

How exciting!! And you're not an "older" mother. What are you, 30 or 31?? I have one friend who's pregnant with twins at 38 and one pregnant with triplets at 37. Yow! And we can't wait to see pictures of your belly. I might post pictures of mine. Oh wait - that's not a baby in me, it's bread and cheese and beer!

Mia
Sounds like you're very excited about the baby now - and to see the ultrasound pic would have added to the thrill of having a baby. I think the 20 years olds are ill prepared for motherhood and in many respects are still children themselves. I was 30 and probably still ill prepared but I had some life experiences under my belt. You'll be great!

Mia,
Don't worry, sweetie...Your beautiful little baby will come into this world healthy and beautiful, I promise. You'll be a great mother, just wait and see!
You know honey, it's only natural to worry about such things with your first child-and frankly with every other child you have. It's all a part of being a mother. God is watching over you always.
My friend Hester (The lady from Holland) just had a beautiful baby girl in November, and she's in her thirties, too. Hester's own parents tried for years to concieve a child, but her mother didn't have her until she was fifty years old. Some day, I hope to visit them, and if you want and wouldn't mind, I'd be happy to have you along.
I still worry about my son-even though he's not biolgically mine-and I always will.
I know it must be hard some days, but stay strong Mia. You're doing a fantastic job! Hold on to that on the rough days.
You are loved. Be blessed.
PS. I'd like to send you something for the baby...please email me your address again, okay?
