Well here I go again -- I took Wiley's suggestion and cut the Nicoderm patches into 4 and will see how that will work--Also today I am going to start going back to the gym!!
I have to face the ex-wife in 3 weeks so I want to lose some of the weight I gained over the holidays.

I went cold tukey 4 yrs ago but started back. I quit last year for 3 months and started back, I was down to 1 a day and now I am up to 5 or 6 a day. I do love Sparky but i think that subconciously I feel that maybe he is trying to change me or that I will get FAT

I went cold turkey when I quit...
...and then I started getting as big as a turkey and had to quit eating, too:). Maybe your love for Sparkey will encourage you to quit. Good luck!

Sparky is my one true love - I have never stopped loving this man in 23 yrs!! How many couples get the chance to fall in love with each other all over again?? I indeed feel very BLESSED thanks for reading!!

I was using the Nicoderm Patches the 21mg but they are so expensive though they did help, I was down to 1 1/2 cigarettes a day. I never thought about cutting them to make them go further thanks for the tip!!

Good for you grammy, and you can quit smoking when you want to. I did it for 11 years then started again when my wife died and now quit just before Kabu came here to live.
I got the Nicoderm patch but the middle one, cut one patch up into 4 days, and after about 14 days I was done and I feel fine again.
So, go for it, give yourself the gift of breath luv.

I guess you got me on that one-- I havent had much time till recently that is why I was away for almost 14 months

I quit a yr ago for 3 weeks and honestly didnt miss it, then at the beginning of my divorce every time I had to talk to my x or he would call the first thing I would do was reach for a cigarette, so I am making a go of it again to QUIT
