Good post, lustorlove
The hardest thing for me was caring for my Dad who became an Alzheimer's victim. It was before I became a nurse and I learned everything a person could possibly need to know about AD while caring for him. I was so emotionally involved in it. When he finally had to be admitted to full time care in a facility is when I decided to go back to school and become a nurse. I was in my early 50's when I graduated.

Good point...I think anything that requires an effort does produce better
results in terms of personal satisfaction.
