I so know what you mean about the being shallow. My ex husband was gorgeous---but he was a drug addict that loved his drugs way more than he could love anything else. Seeya, loser.

first off, congrats on one year in......
told myself @ the wise all knowing age of 17 i would not get married till 35. had alot of ya ya's to get out.made it to 32. but got married for all the wrong reasons(BEING SHALLOW REALLY COST ME)she was way to hot on the outside and twice as cold on the inside.i think i hear a poem coming from that....or a top ten country hit
people used to ask do you miss her? ernestly i would reply "yep,but my aim is getting better"

Congratulations!
The last part of December 2007 was my wife's and my 37th anniversary. It has actually been a long time, but it doesn't seem like it. It feels like only a few short years ago that we met--much less got married. Congratulations to the two of you, and I hope that you make it as long as we have.

Hi Ariala, I thought it was nice. What struck me as relevant at the time was that when I received it I was stressing about the wedding plans....notice how wedding planning is not listed in the verses!!! I often think people put too much emphasis on the wedding itself. That's really not that important. It's fun, and it's a great celebration of family and friends, but ultimately it's only one day.
