Re: bpitter2007 -I read this stuff many years ago but did a quick review before
I see. I just find it so fascinating. So, have you been scientifically researching the brain since then? Is the human brain that easy to manipulate or does it take a lot of programming to stimulate it to what you want it to believe? It's mind boggling trying to figure out why we believe what we believe and how that process came about. It seems every time I get one research done, there's another one. I don't see an end anywhere. I'm trying to write a book but I can't write on what I don't know specifically. And what I don't know is getting bigger by the day, it seems:). Hope I'm not asking stupid insignificant questions.

posting about it.
As I mention in this post, I may not be the best person to comment on these things. I have the gist of it, understand the overall framework but do not have enough interest to go deeper into it. Appreciate that at the point in my life where I studied such things, I found that so many more explanations for what people generally ascribe to the spiritual realm were found in science. Primarily the study of how the human brain reacts to manipulation or physical stimuli which leads to the possibility that the spiritual realm does not exist.

Did you read the 7 levels of the worlds? The 7th level is supposed to be the lowest level where they say you still hold your desires without having a body to appease those desires, is that the gist of that level or something more?
Love to have your comments.

arGee - Happy New Year to you as well
Have no fear, I haven't "gone Astral". I merely remarked that of all the afterlife constructs, the 7 dimensions of the astral plain make the most sense when looked at objectively. Making sense in that they allow for all of the inconsistencies that cannot be reconciled in the traditional afterlife constructs of heaven and hell as absolutes. Or of salvation achieved simply by declaring belief. I don't buy any of it, I just think that the people who dreamt up the astral world constructs did a better job of guessing what the afterlife holds for us than many of the other religious versions.

like other spiritual phenomena
someone has to concoct a complex explanation that in the end has nothing to do with the reality.
i've said it -- I am sure there is something beyond our physical ken -- and some of us feel it and experience it --
some just want to find an explanation -- define the undefinable

Marvelous...
...the only thing that really intrigued me was that if it is possible, according to the blogger, to project yourself or communicate with another level, that's something I would love to investigate. It puts me in the mind of "transcendental meditation" or "out of body" experiences. True, all you have is someone's word of their experience if you can't experience it yourself.
Do you believe in Hynotism? I've always believed that there are things we can do with our minds and will that might not be explainable to others. But it's hard to say nowadays whether you are really seeing something with your own eyes, with so much advanced magic being used.
I do believe, however, that with proper training, concentration, will power, and desire, there are no limits to what we can do with our minds. And I know that such things require much discipline and control, but could it also be dangerous? That is my question. Would you ever try to go further with the Astral Planes?
Also, did you try to see your aura. I haven't tried it yet. Do you believe we have an aura?
Thank you so much for your comments and I do believe this is something worth looking in to because it allows you to feel better about the end than just the "heaven or hell" theory. But I wish to find out all I can before I forge into the unknown:)
Thanks loads!
