Just maybe they aren't as good friends as you thought they were, or they wouldh't have been running everything down. You enjoy your cooking and your family does, so isn't that all that matters? Maybe they just used to be friends. People do grow apart if they don't see each other the same as they grow closer by being together more often. I think you did a great job on your blog. Merry Christmas a day late, and I hope your New Year is a Happy One too.
