yes, that humid-cold
is bone-chilling isn't it? When we moved from Stuttgart (which was humid already) to the Schwarzwald (which was much more humid), it was a shock to the system. I was ALWAYS cold in the fall and winter months. Nothing short of stocking the Kaminofen full of firewood and blasting the haus out would alleviate that chill for me.
However, it IS the humidity of the forests that cause me to discover that I have curly hair... A fact that had eluded me for 35 years!

You seem to be having a lot of fun there! This 'Bad' business probably refers to some springs, possibly thermal (as at Radium Hot Springs in B.C., for example), and there may well be a spa attached...You mentioned that you lived in Toronto - so you are Canadian?
