what indeed is in a name. I have an ancestor from Denmark, Peterson.
He and his brother were the first men to farm the area where I grew up. The district was called Pertersville after them and their courage. People, well Greeks anyway, from my ex's clan, have said to me at least your ancestors spoke English. Well excuse me, but the Danish connection didn't, has always been my answer to that one.
