Exactly.  I'm not saying it is wrong for people to take their children to such places, though you see them que up in their droves for ages at times, ques can be stretching around corners etc, though how many times do you see ques outside churches at such a time of the year or how many do take children or explain such a time of year.  Each to their own I guess and I can't fault anyone for that.  It's just a shame. Take care and enjoy.
  Blessings.

Now that's just twisted, eyes.  "what am I getting" is all anyone seems to care about.

Yes it's a shame that as times goes by, the true meaning of Christmas slips away with it.  I was in town earlier and was passing a Santas grotto, at to which point I heard a child ask his mom "When is Santa's birthday?" for her to reply "Christmas day silly", too many it's all about Santa. Take care.

hey Whacky!  HI BO, THE CHRISTMAS WONDER DOG!!!
I like that thinking.  I left my Christmas wreath inside the front door all last year, and I'm glad I did....I also have a friend that has one room in his house that he keeps a tree in all year around.

eyeshaveears, I'm with you.  I keep my stuff up until the end of January, and I wish Merry Christmas until then.   To me it's a season, not a day.

I do celebrate Christmas, or should I say take part in the meanings of Christmas and no, for me it's not over on the 26th, as the whole process, meaning etc presides over a season not just a day (25th etc). Interesting questions posed. Take care.
