Logic makes the world go round... Or was that...
pheremones? I'm wondering how cactus would do on mars, given its light waterload. I kinda miss the old days in sci fi when we could visualize colonies on Mars and elevators to the moon, and learning to adapt to variations in gravity, tall thin folk on low-grav planets, and short stocky ones on the places with high-G. Come to think of it, there's a frozen mini-Mars bar in my freezer...

No, we don't have cousins on Mars, but possibly ancestors none of us would recognize, 'cause they look more like...well, more like something you would see under a microscope and not particularly like...And I doubt they celebrate Christmas, since they're probably all dead anyway, and also 'cause they have no trees...
