I remember that age - I would have died rather than been seen in public with my parent's, those uncool "old" people, who insisted on making rules meant to ruin my life!
But I would have sucked it up for one night, especially if it meant getting to see the Back Street Boys in concert - I bet coolness (or lack there of) will take a back seat on this one!
Oh, and if Santa's stuck for gift ideas, he could pick up a copy of the Zelda game for J's Wii - it's amazing! The one game that Hubby and I both agree on, and play for hours on end!

Yes it can be more unerving when the evenings get darker etc. Hey you'll be jumping on those scales after the festive season K. You never know, she may just jump at the chance to go to the concert with you. Take care.
