You said it, Pat! It's supposed to improve this week. I didn't get any shopping done last week and my newsletter sans computer is just now going to the printers.  We drove south yesterday and they got nothing like what we got! We still have trees with ice on them. Thanks for the comment!

can be a bit dicey in winter... We had an ice storm just a year ago in the sT. Louis area that took out 600,000 or so for the better part of two weeks, and the trees along nearby country roads still look broken and wounded. I'm glad you're okay and hope your power stays on from now on. :)pat

And moving further south?  It is now SNOWING here. It's pretty. But definitely below 40. I'd like to go to the Orange Bowl and watch my Jayhawks this winter, but at $4000 for the two of us, I'll stay home. That kind of money will buy us a nice new TV and some firewood!!

the thermometers dip below 40 degrees.  Snow?  That's for people who can't or won't move away from it.  I've seen flurries in the two years I've been in Georgia and those I don't really mind, but if we get any real snowfall, I'm puting a For Sale sign in my front yard.
