she does leave me out of the gossip, but i am sure when i am not around then i am gossiped about, not the problem, its her getting into my emails and answering them, making rude statements. and about her getting into my business, like my time sheet.

You are dealing with a very insecure individual. I would simply tell her she has over stepped her boundry and you would appreciate her leaving you out of her gossiping and to be respected as a co-worker who is addressed in a proper manner. You must set the expectations of her behavior toward you!!!! Be firm, you are already kind>>>>>sam
