Yes, you may! It makes me feel better to know that there's other people on this planet that have similar problems! I envy those people who have wonderful in-laws! I sincerely hope they appreciate what they have! Even my husband is getting fed-up with his parents' childish behaviour!

Just a monent, please, as long as we are on the subject of in-laws.....My sil is the most inconciderate person alive! She text messaged my daughter's cell phone with two lines. 'We will go there on the 29th' Huh? Like who will come here? All three of you? and for how long? She is very overbearing and must be the center of attention. My fil is coming to stay with us over the New Year! I do not have enough bedding for four people! Hubby says we'll manage and she probably will want to take off to one friend or anothers anyway.... I suppose we'll be the last to hear of her plans. I'll text message my neice (her daughter) and ask for their plans! Sil HAS my cell phone number and address!!

I think we've all had this experience in our lives. But you got the best of it just by seeing their faces turn white and then red...they are living with what they said, they are trying to make it right in their heads...you just go about your biz and smile.

I think you're right about the jealousy. Go ahead keep on doing what you're doing. AND DAMN THE TORPEDOES! (At least it's your mother in law--it's my own mom who keeps harping on how I've raised my boys--even though they're holding down jobs or school and going to church and, and. . . )
