saul_relative - for me it is the other way around
It took awhile but I've cleaned up the problems in my personal living space with the relentless God squad in laws and relatives. For the most part, they don't speak to me any more. I guess the "love" they were trying to share with me was conditional.

I've had a few rude comments along the way and a couple of biblical
verses thrown at me, gomedome, but most of the proselytizing and converting I've had to deal with has been face-to-face, at my doorstep or at work. I had one young woman attempt to guilt me into conversion through the effect that my going to hell would have on my family. I simply told her that at least they wouldn't have to wonder where I ended up...

Ariala - I would imagine that it is a little different for the ladies
Where for the most part I am oblivious, or at the very least completely uninterested in the romantic efforts of some on this site, I have noticed that some folks are not here just for writing. That's there business until they begin approaching those who are not interested. I've only had that type of solicitation happen once, I have also had a few biz ops thrown at me. Most of the latter I have answered, primarily to dissuade a younger Blogit member from getting further involved in something they think is gold but is nothing more than one of countless millions of online scams.

Troosha - I've received some scary emails over the years
One of them insisted that I was a drug dealer, another one insisted that they were instructed by God to contact me. Quite a few have told me that I am evil, disgusting, the devil, or just plain insane. . . . hey, no one's perfect. . . but it does make you wonder what type of person would do these things?

gome, even with some rational ones, I found ulterior motives...Yes, if
it's business related, no problem.

Ariala -during my time here, I've had about a dozen emails I did not return
The contents of the emails made it quite clear that they were from people that you wouldn't want to have your email address. I have gotten some interesting emails, some people asking me my opinion, some concerning web authoring or business matters. All I am happy to receive. It's the scary stuff from scary people that is of concern.

You're a hoot - you mean you can't be "saved" with an email??? Loved the guidelines.....

Good idea to have that little item. I've asked Blogit men, especially,
not to email me and everyone else to just leave comments, if possible. People can get delusional and infatuated and become a real nuisance.
