Offy hon,
Thanks for the Christmas Greetings! I'm trying not to neglect anyone, but I've been up to my eyeballs these last few days - I'm surprised I got another post out for the series! Of course, no one's reading it anyway...

Re: Closer and closer, Naut... May I suggest a great science fiction novel,
LOL, Saul, yes, I would have thought you'd know about this if it's happening in your neck of the woods. It's not trivial! But then, as you suggest, it might upset some people...

Re: Brains in a dish I thought we had a new recipe segment going,
Okay Kabu, maybe I'll dig out one of my famous recipes for Christmas, just for you...

Pat, unfortunately I've never found a lot of brains in that kind of dish...

Closer and closer, Naut... May I suggest a great science fiction novel,

A Billion Days of Earth, by Doris Piserchia?  If you can find it, it's a great read.  It's set far, far into the future and deals with animal and human gene manipulation.

I can't beleive they're doing this stuff in my back yard and it isn't even on the damned news.  Too many damned bible thumpers down here.  I guess they keep it under wraps in self defense...

Brains in a dish. I thought you were talking about a "dish" as in
a cute girl, thought you were complimenting your significant other or something.  What an interesting story -- Better than science fiction.  Hmmm... wonder what I can do with this idea?

Naut
I find this one intriguing.  I have a good friend with a brian injury and the more they can learn about the brain is a wonderful thing.  It remains such an overwhelming mystery in the medical field.
