Re: Nautikos
Okay, now there are four women on this planet who don't like to shop - mall owners are beginning to revise their strategies...

Naut, I'd get into one of those daycares and hide when my wife
returned....in fact, maybe hide there until Christmas is over.....

I think Chyrlann is onto something with the claim checks..... Actually, I'd be there right with them because I'm just like TAPS....I cannot stand to go to malls, can't remember the last time I went to one.  The only kind of shopping I like to do is in little specialty shops in a couple of select areas I go to on rare occasions just to poke around in as a treat or if I'm looking for gifts....otherwise, I'm an online gal.

Offy hon,
The claim check arrangement opens all kinds of interesting possibilities...

The checkbook, eh Pat? I guess Marx was right after all, in the end everything comes down to economics...

Re: LOL......
I'll keep that in mind, Corbin, next time my LSW wants to go shopping in Cincinnati...

Well now I have heard of everything......I think it's a darn good idea for those husbands who don't like shopping....I wonder what would happen if you accidently mixed up the claims check? lol..

Chyrlann, you and I obviously think alike! This claim check business took my train of thought down a number of interesting routes...

The operative word here is 'few', as in you and possibly one in Anchorage because it's too cold out, and the one I have heard of near Milano, but she's a nun, so I don't know if she counts - it strikes me the market is somewhat limited! But you can always join the guys, I'm sure they'd be delighted to have you...

I had several smartalecky comments in mind, but decided to
take the high road.  Holding pens seem like a kinder alternative than leaving hubby at home with a honey-do list. And since there are no wifely expectations that he might at least look at the list if he's in a nearby holding pen, that's one less time they'll go to bed with unresolved arguments...  Plus, which, he's handy if she needs his checkbook. :)pat

LOL......
There's a major Flea market just north of Cincinnati that has men's lounges.....big screen TVs, recliners and couches......since it's only open on weekends.....it's perfect for  the hubbies  to watch their games........

I don't know who would hold purses outside dressing rooms so this doesn't
sound very practical....but about that claim check requirement; I would think it would be a more profitable venue if we could pick up which one we wanted on a first come first serve or maybe a finders keepers, losers weepers basis.

That's it I'm a going  there to do my shopping.  Let's see, if I start saving my allowance now, I will have enough saved in about ten years . . .

Hahahaha  I know how to get mine to go with me. "Honey I don't want to spend more than you want me to spend. Come along and check out these things." I show him the most expensive he shrinks and I buy those beautiful ones that are more than half off. LOL
