Romney's Speech-What worked, What didn't.
davideskin: I believe that Romney made the speech because of the flak that he is getting from some members of the media as wellas Huckabee's rise.  I don't believe that he wanted to deliver the speech: He did it as a matter of political necessity and survival.  On a personal level, Romney reminds me of a phony.  He comes across as robotic and insincere.  He is ''too perfect'', if you know what I mean.  I prefer a candidate that comes across as more natural and regular.  He reminds me of a salesman, actor and game show host.

His Mormonism is going to kill him in the South, davideskin. And his
"illegal alien" hired help is going to hurt him as well everywhere.  Makes him look disingenuous.  They've already started calling him a flip-flopper and comparing him to Kerry.  Huckabee's the guy, now, that's going to be difficult to beat.

David
Great review. I agree, everything that should be addressed has been addressed and should American's wnat to know more about Romney's faith well then they should feel free to educate themselves...on their own time. Romney is a good man, you can see it, you can feel it and almost smell it. He is a great orator and I know he believes deeply in family values. As Governor no one really cared much about what he did on Sunday with his family. Anyhow, I could go on. But I'll just say, wonderful review
