RedStatesMan - I wonder how you would view the world if adherants to a
religion that you do not agree with were trying to control every facet of the society you live in?
It is not very likely that you would remain silent. As for why I post daily in this blog and several others (which of course you neglect to mention), there are many reasons. It is only your inherent bias that sees my daily posts in this category as being anti-Christian and allows you to suggest that I view myself as superior to Christians. That notion is nothing more than your false assumption and one that cannot be substantiated from the contents of this blog. I've never said such a thing nor have I intended to imply it. The closest I have ever come to saying such a thing is the few times I have mentioned that I have left the Christian religion behind for something I feel works better for me. A sentiment if expressed as the converse, in saying that I left some other belief system behind for Christianity, you would no doubt fully endorse.
There is far more in this blog than simply condemning Christians and I am hardly consumed by it, quite often posting in as little time as 10 minutes. The truth be known, I spend far much more time on my other blogs. If you are so blinded by your beliefs that you cannot see these things, I would suggest that you not read this blog. It seems you are incapable of understanding that your beliefs are no different from anyone else's. No more or less valid than anyone else's and that includes Islam. It also seems to be completely beyond your comprehension that persons of differing beliefs have as much right as you do to influence the societies they live in.

Re: RedStatesMan - it seems by your last comment that you do not even realize
I wonder why you write so much about something you do not believe in? It appears that you write daily. Your blogs are a constant verbal attack on Christians and Chrisitanity. Why? There are many issues I disagree with but my entire time on earth is not consumed with writing on blogit daily about superior I am over some other group of people. "Don't dare say we struggle with our own beliefs"? I would say you do or you are obviously bothered by this subject. I believe that Mohammed is fake, does not exist, I believe that the Muslim religion is a joke but you will not see me using every second of each day writing about how I am superior and the Muslims are a joke. I wonder if I wrote a post each day condeming gays and lebians, as you do about Christians, what kind of responses I would receive?

RedStatesMan - it seems by your last comment that you do not even realize
when your words are dripping with disdain and condescension.
Subsequently it is very difficult to determine the implied sentiment of your comment, it seems to shift from amicable discourse to insults. Let's however get a couple things straight from the get go. When you say things such as this to me " . . . just read the Bible. Oh, that's right, you do not believe in those words but yet still struggle with the societal ills that exists and you are left with just a plea that everyone get along." . . . you are working on a number of failed assumptions. The fact that you think there is something of value as a means of determining current world situations to be found in an ancient religious manuscript, I view as entirely your problem. Don't even bother implying as you have done in the preceding quote, that it is somehow one of my shortcomings.
The world outside of American politics is not a world of two camps in Liberals and Conservatives. Nor is it as simple as one camp versus the other. Globally, there is a broad political spectrum with valid and invalid concepts inherent in all perspectives. In other words don't bother me with talk of Liberals did this or Liberals did that.
And no, you dare not say we struggle with our own beliefs. The struggling part was earlier in our lives, when we were presented with nonsensical and completely redundant religious constructs that were assembled by our primitive ancestors. Everyone around us save a small percentage, bought into these inconsistent and implausible so called truths while we didn't. Oh that's right . . . you were one of them that did buy it.

Re: RedStatesMan - it is an argument that is well taken, there is nothing funny
" . . . whether you realized (I doubt it) or not." This comment is truthful because of the intention of all of your posts. You obviously do not believe in the Bible or God from reading your material. However, you did an excellent job on explaining the Book of Revelation. It is obvious on this website and across our nation that the liberal minded person always desires the "can't we just get along" pipe dream. Of course, it would be great if that was so but it will never be so, just read the Bible. Oh, that's right, you do not believe in those words but yet still struggle with the societal ills that exists and you are left with just a plea that everyone get along. There are nut cases in every religion, however, you will never find me chasing kooka around every tree, at his home, at the bus stop, etc. or demanding that gomedome convert to being a Baptist or I will chop off his head. I am truly sorry that Christians have somehow assembled to constantly attack you and kooka. If you are happy with your life then great. However, I am intrigued by you and kooka, in that, you seem to struggle daily with this issue compared to the numerous posts on this subject. This shows that you struggle with the topic and should I dare to say struggle with your own beliefs. I will say this, at least you are thinking about it. This is good!

RedStatesMan - it is an argument that is well taken, there is nothing funny
at all about mental retardation.
Your comment would make a valid point if there was any reference at all to those who are mentally challenged in this post but there is not. I am clearly speaking about those who are socially challenged, using the word retarded as it is defined.
I find it more than a little laughable that someone could end their comment with a remark that is clearly intended to be condescending " . . . whether you realized (I doubt it) or not." after attempting to play the "don't use that word" game and then attempting to tell me about the coming to fruition of biblical prophecies. I do choose my words carefully, I know exatly what they mean and to what degree they are capable of offending. The point is that if someone wants to take offense above and beyond my intentions, all I can say is knock yourself out.

Where Do I Begin?
My first impression from this post was your free use of the word 'retarded'. There are people on this earth who are truly retarded:
"The mentally retarded are people whose primary language or motor skills develop at a distinctly slower pace than normal. They are individuals whose normal development is so impaired that they require supervision and assistance even to perform some basic tasks like managing their personal hygiene."
You must choose your words more carefully. Retarded is not something funny because you never know who may have a family member that is in this state for whatever reason. Your liberal use of the word makes me want to buy you for what you are worth and then sell you for what you think you are worth. Understand?
What you just posted could not be a better explanation for the Book of Revelation. You have outlined exactly what is going on in our times today. There will never be a time where all leaders or people or nations will get together and solve issues like these that you speak. Welcome, to your own revelation of what is really going on these days, whether you realized (I doubt it) or not.

and change the subject.
I spend far too much time on this site engaged in pointless discussion. (present company excepted of course)

Well written.
Funny how this is the topic you addressed today. Yesterday I read a speech transcript about religious beliefs and how irrationally people will hang onto them. Well done, as usual.
