mysteria - the part that I enjoyed about them and found a little
discomforting at the same time was that back in high school, I was Butthead.
It's scary to see so much of yourself in a cartoon character. And yes, I did wander around in a stupor for a good number of those years muttering to myself that "I was gonna score" but somehow never scoring.

ladychardonnay - we have the same thing up here
The second language is French instead of Spanish however. It seems that kicking their French butts in a war 300 years ago wasn't good enough. The language issue is a little deeper than this however, there are inescapable realities.

going outside of the box for a moment
I really hate "Press 1 for English" - last time I looked we were in America and speak English as our number one language. that really fries my ass.
