SB
Again SB, these are valid points and make plenty sense, cause yes, the lack of evidence at the given time and also maybe the lack of thought, by way of thinking of other possibilities, can lead ones mind to react this way. Thanks for input. Take care.

Stereotyping takes place because people conclude without sufficient evidence or thought!

Do you not think we need to make assessments for our own safety. You didn't grab a big stick and conk this person over the head. At 1 in the morning I would be causcious too.

good write...it's hard sometimes to NOT stereotype--I am also guilty of it,
though I try to refrain from that sort of thing. It's
part of our judgemental nature.

Sam
Well yes, to me this is how I normally see people in the first instance, for the good that lays within. Although on this occasion different thoughts came into my head. Maybe a touch of clouded judgement or as put in another response, simply good old human nature. Take Care.

Kayzz
I guess we do at times K, although I don't think it was so much of me feeling guilty, but to realise I made judgement etc, or how easy it is to judge when it's not intentional, so to speak. Take care.

I'll admit I sure have been guilty of it too...now as to what you experienced I think I would have drawn the same conclussion..I try not to make assumptions about people but my human side tends to kick in and although I may be right about the person or people I have to wonder exactly why I do it....maybe it is human nature?
