There are two types of people in the world: One, who live with the fear of death, and the other; with the joy of life. The former live dying, the latter, die living.

Remembered what Oppenheimer said when the A-bomb was dropped 8-6-1945
He quoted Shiva or the Rig Veda, "I am become Death...Lord of destruction...." BUt I take courage and insights from the fact that JESUS's death is not scary but essential. We celebrate it as Holier than Life itself. WHY? for the reasons we have been delving into, philosophically or just because we are searching and nearing (? I pray) the truth about this earthly sojourn. Shalom--shanthi aum

Good advice; for a simple, practical appraoch: immobility = death. Motion

is a cure for many things, and when one needs motion to cease somewhat, there's sitting like Buddha in meditation. Shalom--shanthi AUM
