Corbin...I say you write a blog asking the question...."What other name should we give to Muhammad?" I have a few choice ones...

These people kill, maim. starve each other on a daily basis and want to hang this poor woman for something so stupid...Muhammad ( or Fred, whatever ya wanta call him) would not be impressed...

Saul Relative,
"Ado about nothing" to who? You accept that the outrage or offense to these insults are petty? It clearly is not for you to judge? Because, the million plus dead Iraqis is real and you people treat that as petty!

Much ado about nothing, Corbin. Unfortunately for the teacher, that
"nothing" could get her killed in the Sudan...

Corbin: What in the hell is wrong with naming a teddy bear after a religious leader?  What difference does it make whether this is staged or not?  You're going to jail or kill someone for such a silly thing.  It's outrageous!

Joanna360,
"Poor teacher"?? This lady is not an innocent victim! For some reason these people never apologize, they simply blame people for being offended!

Glad you posted this
I didn't catch it all on the news. My mother comes from a Carribean Island where all religions of Christian, Indian, Budhism and Muslim intertwine. Many various faiths even attend the Muslim Highschools and Colleges on the island. I have to tell you, out there there are several Ken Dolls, action figures and bears named Mohammed.

I felt this thing was used to cause a scene to get in the news. The victim the poor teacher was used as a sacrificial lamb.

Let me tell you something people, calling a bear Mohammed and giving intense attention to persecute over it makes the book of Revelation make more sense to me.

When crap like this happens, it really makes me feel that the end of the world is near.

Carbin Dallas,
"There you people go again"! Blaming the people who are offended. There is more to this story than you or any of the corporate media will let us know. It was a lame and juvenile stunt for this teacher to carry the game to her classroom (naming a Teddy bear???). I am not that certain that it was not calculated and staged to get the reaction that it did! Are you? I don't see any of your so called "civilized Religions" standing against the carnage ongoing in Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Afghanistan.

I wish someone here that is.....
a Muslim would explain it to us.......I really would like to understand this kind of thinking and how the religion justifies such behavior.

It not a part of the religion, you say???   Well, then where and what went wrong.......

I've been following that story myself! It's utterly appalling, but does it surprise me? No...
