Not sure I understand your issue. ActBlue is an online service that helps supporters of Democratic causes and candidates to contribute to their candidate via the Web.

Public financing matches the money raised from individuals up to $250 per person and puts restrictions on how much money you can spend in each election.

Public financing also allows a candidate to focus on reaching the voters personally rather than spending all their time raising money.

Dems: If Edwards is raising so much money from ActBlue, why is he asking for public financing too?  You can't have it both ways.  Although I agree with some of his rhetoric, this is one of the reasons why I can't support him completely.
