of supporting doctrine is built around it.
Once these beliefs are fleshed out, eleborated upon and utilized as a means of indoctrination and control, to reverse any position that is so widely distributed is very difficult. It is much easier to resist the change of position.

when we realize that we are here, we begin asking how and why
and search for answers
so we imagine that certain things, the sun in particular, are powerful, since they appear to be powerful.
then we develop our ideas, which are the same thing, only different cast of characters.
then we decide that there is no more room for development and decide to settle on and persist in believing in an explanation and refuse evidence to the contrary.
