Notice, shilo, that I don't post every day. I am attending an online
class that requires a lot of research and writing as well.  I am a tutor and teacher, so there is that to contend with.  Simply put, I just write...

I totally agree, Ciel. Would that more people were a bit more open-minded
about these things...

I have to agree with that, saul relative--

This is why it is necessary to read the range of what is available, to distill as clearly as possible what may have really been said.

In any case, some interesting ideas and possible truths are offered throughout the vast volumes of sacred literature world-wide, regardless of whether they are truly the ideas and words of the person to whom they are attributed.

I like to wonder, Ciel, what Jesus actually did and said. What is reported
is pretty good stuff, but people who idolize are not credible...

Jesus and Judas...

For an interesting take on that, and not the traditional one, which is, after all, the one promoted by the winners in the earliest of the Christian Sect Wars... take a google at The Gospel Of Judas...

In fact, the tale told there is told in a variation with another of the disciples in the role of Judas, in other Gnostic Christian documents.

I suggest it is not who Jesus spoke to, but what he said that is most significant.

Good comment! The ways of the world.....fewer listen when elected, standing
behind a podium, in front of cameras, boasting false promises.....more follow when walking the countryside, bringing faith to miracle. Beyond too smart...knowing better.
