Below the surface..
As an independent person and a normal human being.. I tend to agree with your viewpoint. However, personally, when it comes to politics (and beaurocracy), there are too many issues below the surface that public are almost never aware of the full-length of it. It gives me headache and heartache :-)
Keep writing.. your balanced opinions will, in time, open a lot of pair of eyes..

Good post...I tend to agree with your Dad's point of view on things...very conservative.
