Message from Nurse Garfield
Certain transplant medications - most notably cyclosporine - are among the medicines one cannot take with grapefruit juice. In fact, my human had a doctor that told her once that one cannot ever drink grapefruit juice at any time of day if one is on cyclosporine. Good thing she doesn't even like grapefruit juice.

Thanks for mentioning that.
My husband was recently put on Zocor to lower his cholesterol. We received a gift fruit basket that had half a dozen grapefruit in it. He said, "Wow, grapefruit. I haven't had any in ages." I had to remind him that he could not eat it.
