Life, Love & God

Hi Carl, thanks for initiating a healthy dialogue. I just posted two more poems on the subject. The subject of "Life, Love & God" is the essence of my entire poetry..as stated in the "about this blog" introduction. I know many in the world, regardless of race, religion, nationality, etc, believe in their heart of hearts what I just wrote..it's not unique to me..but people are either shy or afraid to display this tender side of them..I sensed & experienced that over the past several decdes of my both personal & bisiness lives..which is why I've taken a break from my long left-brained career of engineering, which I do still love, to write poetry where I can let my right brain and heart lose, and hopefully leave some legacy behind. I have met souls like yourself and many of the other poets on this blog in my world travels that share this view, my only hope is that the younger generation all over will see the light and join hearts & hands to create a better life for all everywhere on this blessed planet..I know I'm being too idealistic, but at this stage of my life, I'd rather be that way than keep turning over in anguish in my grave ! Amen !!

Sincerely, Ash Pradhan

Problem is, many don't see it as ego
My lengthy comment on this is here.

Good poem, though.

Comment on War
It's so very difficult to have a "peaceful and calm" heart, in the midst of all this killing.  You point out that truth very well.joab

Mutual anger it only spreads

Enmities it only builds

Nothing it resolves

Let's continue to pray that they hear our plea!  Great job, ash!

a great start in art from engineering smart immigrant, though a resident,

here and president-to-be of some great institute, because Peace is Truth. I am so overjoyed that an enginner is writing peace=poems. I am historian myself...so there is much hope for peace now!!! thanks
