Hmmmm.....that is a tough one. If you were not in a hurry you could have taken a bath until the water started to chill and then jump into the shower.

Bath vs shower
I fondly remember my mother's parents deep claw-foot tub from my childhood. My grandfather kept his shaving mug, straight razor and razor strop next to it. My favorite memory of their house will always be the glorious feeling of crawling into the huge enveloping luxury of their featherbed, beneath several thick handsewn crazy quilts! I don't remember them keeping their house cool but perhaps the upstairs bedroom was, because I recall how snug and warm and content that bed made me feel. If you need someone to scrub your back, I'll volunteer.
You are obviously very happy and i'm happy for you. Stay well, Guy

On one hand you might have Scotty beam you up
while on the other you would have a better grip on that rubber ducky...

When you are tired put four Tablespoons of Epsom salts, 4 Tablespoons of Baking Soda and 4 Tablespoons of table salt and 4 drops of lavender oil in your water. This will neutralize lactic acid which makes your body feel stressed and up tight, it will exfoliate your skin and the Epsom salts triggers the body to expel toxins from those organs that have them such as liver, etc.. The lavender oil is very relaxing and was used in WWII in healing balms and directly on burn patients. However, do not use too much Lavender or any natural floral oil or it will burn the skin it is potent. While you are still wet pat a mixture of olive oil and a drop of lavender oil on your body and pat dry. You will sleep like a baby. You should not stay more than 20 minutes in the bath.

Squirt some perfume under your arms, Sally........................
a squirt here, and a squirt there, you'll be fine. I do take a bath every Sunday though, WHETHER I need one or not.

Well, surely it was a shower if it was at all cold...a tub is just tooooooo cold in a cold bathroom for a tub.....makes me shrivel just to think about it!!!!!!!!! I love both, too....and have been known to take both one after the other.....

Good Afternoon, Offy hon
My advice comes a little late, since I had to get going after I got out of the shower! I've never had a bath in the morning in my
life, 'cause I like to dawdle and soak in the tub, and my mornings ain't made for that. Even if I had the time, it somehow wouldn't 'feel' right - dunno why. I guess I just ain't a 'morning bather'! But hey, if you have the time...enjoy! And I'm sure you look very attractive in either place...

Sally
In the morning it's a hot, pounding shower for me. That's what gets me going. I enjoy a leisurely bath in the evening though.

I vote the tub, Sally! Just climb out when the water cools
instead of running more - my m.o. til the heater is drained, lol.

I have a big ball&claw bathtub too---we're going to rig a showerhead to it
and decorate the bathroom around a poster of Frank Zappa sitting on the can. (don't ask.)
