Justi, I can promise you I am not the 'snide' one here
I came in and tried to show you that your had it wrong.  Nothing at all snide about that.  When a person makes a mistakes, it is a polite and respectful thing to calmly correct them.  Read my first comment here and find one thing in it that really was 'snide'.

You then reply by saying "I do want you to know there is a slight chance that you do not know everything there is to know in this world."

Which one of us got 'snide' to begin with?

I would hope that if you ever read one of my posts and saw that I had put something down and stated it as being fact, and you knew that it had been proven to be wrong, that you would respect me enough to correct me and make sure I am not saying things that make me look foolish.

I really keep hoping we can move on and try to be grown up towards each other, but you seem to have issue with acting grown up towards people who do not see the world the way you do.

Except that at times you make mistakes or over react and this is clearly one of them.

Feel free to block me, that is your right. But understand, that I have not been rude to you in the least for some time now.  I see you make a mistake and I try to be respectful by showing that you were mistaken, and you tell me I am attacking you or being 'snide'.

Last time you blocked me it was after I straight out said that I just disagreed with your views and why I did, but I said that you had every right to them, in a very polite and respectful manner.

I really do wonder why you seem to carry such a grudge against me when I have done nothing at all disrespectful or attacking towards you for some time.

I am not interested in a test of any sort with you. I am responding this time but I will not do so further. We do not see things alike and each of us has our right to how we see them. I will not come on your blogs and make snide statements and I am asking you for the same courtesy. If you do not adhere to that I will block you. The choice is yours.

So because one airport deiced it was easier to remove Christmas trees than to put up symbols of other religious groups is your great example of this?  No one found the Christmas tress themselves to be offensive, just that the airport was showing favoritism towards Christianity. No one wanted the trees to be taken down.

And you know what, you don't know everything either.
Do you really want to try and see which one of us has the clearer head in general?

Check out the Seattle Airport ruckus of last year and this to see if you are right. Christmas trees and lights are being taken down all over out of non commerce areas. I don't want any word battle with you. I do want you to know ther is a slight chance that you do not know everything there is to know in this world.

What did a Christmas tree ever do to them?

I'll pass on the monkey eating story but to anyone who finds the Christmas tree offensive....LOOK THE OTHER WAY!!!

Who finds a Christmas Tree offensive?
No one at all.  Seriously, you are not going to find people who are offended by that.  What is happening is that retailers are looking for ways to get more business and feel that they need to be more pen to diversity and so end up trying to not focus on Christmas.  The far right has gone and decided to blow the whole thing out of proportion and make it seem like some kind of attack on Christianity when there is NO such thing going on.

Do you seriously know even one person who had said they were offended by Christmas in any way shape or form?

My point exactly. Well it is outlawed here. It appears most come from places where the law is not just and they are not concerned with keeping our. They do as they please and want us to protect them. This has gone to court in NYC, but dah dah !

What I find infinitely offensive is that they come here and object to our customs, but expect us to respect theirs! And the eating of monkey meat should be outlawed at least here, for all kinds of reasons too complicated to get into...
