When you don't have to live with it, (snow, not slush), it is soooo beautiful! Snow is a big part of my childhood memories and I don't live with it now, so I romanticize it. I like that Haiku

TAPS--yes Slush is a nasty-dirty word-for it creates havoc with our footware-and our cars-and endangers the 'safe walking' of pedestrians! You are so right.Chris.

We had our first snow here but it didn't really amount to anything. I'm waiting for the first big one. I'm waiting for those pregnant raindrops that turn to monstrous gorgeous flakes that you can catch on your tongue or black glove and that collect into drifts against the fence.
